Your Team & Role:

You & your team will deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs and drive company success. You'll collaborate closely with various teams to deliver services that excel in customer experience, scalability, automation, and innovation. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in software development principles, possess a strong foundation in PHP programming, and demonstrate a proven track record in designing, and implementing complex software systems and inspire your team to have a maintainable & extensible code base.
What you will be doing:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Assist in making technical decisions and ensure that the team follows best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency. Provide guidance in debugging and solving complex technical problems encountered by the team. Collaborate with other stakeholders to define the overall system architecture. Break down technical tasks and distribute them among team members. Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve development processes. Enforce coding standards and best practices. Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. Document architectural decisions, code structure, and any other relevant technical information. What you will bring:
Professional software development experiences Strong experience with PHP (Symfony experience is a bonus), we'll expect you to coach others AWS knowledge (dockers, databases, storage, streams, etc) Experience with software design and architecture A track record in delivering outcomes, not just as an individual, but rallying your team Evangelising high technical standards in the teams Security best practices champion Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information for a diverse audience.
