Job Description What you'll do: As the Engineering Team Lead, you will lead, influence and inspire your team of engineers with plenty of exciting work in the pipeline.
You will experience all facets of the development lifecycle, roadmap, and strategy planning.

Key responsibilities include: Leading a team of talented engineers by promoting, supporting, and improving the Ways of Working of the team. Driving and promoting simplicity, quality, speed, scale, value, and innovation within the team. Managing and contributing to the team's sustainable delivery approach with quality and the customer in mind for the team's outcomes. Driving innovation on products and services that will improve our customer experience as well as scale our systems as our customer base continues to grow. Helping formulate, interpret, and implement our strategy for technology while ensuring the application and enforcement of technology standards across your team and the wider organization. We are looking for:
Expertise in people leadership, motivating, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers. Experience architecting and building robust and scalable platforms in the cloud for high traffic sites, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Fluency in modern technology practices, including management and leadership methods, with experience in coaching and mentoring these practices. Experience in risk management principles, understanding the impact of technical decisions on software risk. A deep understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, importance of automation, and the impact of technical debt on teams and software outcomes.
