The Opportunity SEE Group has a great career opportunity available for a Surveyor to join our highly professional and skilled team delivering a major mining project. This is a full-time role, FIFO from Brisbane QLD to Orange NSW. You'll work closely with teams across engineering, supervision, and project management.
Responsibilities Liaise on a daily basis with site supervisors and engineering staff. General survey fieldwork. Compile work-as-executed models. Create field set out designs. Prepare survey sketches. Create machine control files. Interrogate infrastructure design and identify issues. Calculate volumetric and area quantities. Install, measure, and adjust survey control networks. Carry out aerial drone flight surveys. Create earthworks models as required. Essential Skills and Attributes A Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science, or similar. Knowledge of current Engineering surveying techniques and experience in actual project delivery. Experience in TBC, 12d, and use of a full range of surveying equipment. Demonstrated numerical accuracy and analytical skills. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability. UAV – REPL will be an advantage. Highly effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others. Ability to work unsupervised.
