Surveying (Construction) Full time $50 - $74.99 per hour + Super (experience based) Handley Surveys is a leading supplier of specialist, high accuracy surveying services. The opportunity: The chance to work in the Pilbara on a diverse portfolio of projects that include major civil, structural, mechanical, rail and laser scanning works. Major Project and various roles available Roles for Karratha residential & FIFO workers on family friendly 2/2 or 2/1 rosters. Excellent remuneration package commensurate with experience ($50-75 Per hour) A ticket to gain major construction project experience nationally beyond this current requirement. FIFO surveyors can enjoy the comforts of home in our 'Shared' 4 bedroom house (fully aircon + Netflix) in Karratha or in one of the FIFO camps out of town. The Role : The successful candidate will join our Karratha team. Current team of surveyors offer a rich blend of talent, experience and technical knowledge that will suit a recent graduate or an experienced surveyor that is looking to take their career to the next level on some great projects. Your goal will be to consistently execute your craft with precision and deliver it with exceptional customer service.  To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to: Education : Diploma in Surveying required as minimum. Skills : You must be an excellent communicator both written and oral, someone who understands how to assess, plan and execute survey with accuracy, safely. Do you understand the dynamics & workflow of construction operations? Can you function seamlessly with multiple work groups simultaneously and efficiently? Characteristics : This is an autonomous position mixed with some team based work, so you should be self-sufficient and self-motivated. It's also a role with long hours (10hr days, 6 days/wk for residents) FIFO will typically work on 13 day fortnight on 2:1 cycles which is common across the industry here. Preferred skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks and TBC survey software. The ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones Safety conscious and willing to conform to project requirements Experience with Trimble S-Series Total Stations critical Strong problem solving ability and able ask for help when needed Responsibilities: Timely delivery of survey works, processing & reporting on daily basis.
