A real endeavour, shaped by you As the Engineering Standards Developer, you will support our client, a key Defence agency, in guiding the strategic development and implementation of change management strategies for a critical program of work.
This program aims to deliver tangible outcomes and drive meaningful change in redefining approaches within the capability lifecycle.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will: Lead the development and implementation of engineering standards and methodologies to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Ensure alignment of standards with industry frameworks and organizational requirements.
Define and enforce protocols for model validation, version control, and configuration management across projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of new standards and methodologies.
Analyze and address challenges in standardization, continuously refining methodologies to meet evolving needs.
Facilitate communication and consensus-building among diverse stakeholders to drive effective implementation.
A real endeavour, driven by you Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role: Proven experience in developing and implementing engineering standards and methodologies, ideally in a highly regulated environment.
Deep understanding of engineering principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and frameworks.
Expertise in defining and managing protocols for validation, version control, and configuration management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support structured methodology development.
Leadership experience in guiding teams and stakeholders through the adoption of new practices.
You must have the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
