About the RoleReporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, refinement, delivery and monitoring of our Engineering Services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and optimal delivery to our customers. This is both an internal and customer facing role that will require concise and clear communications at all levels and strong staff management and leadership.
This role focuses on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and working closely with the Engineering Leads, Project Managers and technical teams to align technical execution with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering and design workflows, and service delivery, ideally with previous experience in Additive Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities and TasksLeadership: lead and develop a talented team of engineers, ensuring quality outputs that meet both internal and external standards.Project Management: collaborate with project managers to deliver multiple engineering projects, managing scope, timelines, and budgets to achieve commercial success.Customer Satisfaction: drive customer-focused service delivery by aligning engineering solutions with client expectations and industry standards.Quality Assurance: work with the Quality Manager to uphold AS9100 quality control measures, proactively mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.Process Improvement: innovate and implement efficient delivery processes and tools to enhance operational performance.Stakeholder Communication: provide regular project updates to stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and drive successful outcomes.This is a Full Time position with remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience. Some work outside of standard hours will be required on occasions due to the nature of additive manufacturing and our global client base.
About YouYou will be an experienced Engineering Services Manager with a strong client focus and able to hit the ground running. Ideally, we are seeking candidates who have experience working in an advanced manufacturing environment or Additive Manufacturing experience.
We are seeking a passionate and pro-active team member with the ability to lead and develop high performing teams. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to contribute and collaborate from day one and have demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams in engineering services.
You will have strong project management experience managing complex, multi-industry projects within manufacturing, ideally in Aerospace, Automotive, or Semiconductor sectors.
We are seeking someone with exceptional client relationship management skills who ensures projects are delivered on-time, within specifications, and to industry standards. You will have the ability to engage with clients at all levels and possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
You will possess excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work with a high attention to detail.

Personal Skills and ExperienceRelevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years' experience in a similar leadership role with excellent leadership and evidence of managing high performing teams.Experience working with heat exchangers and/or metal Additive Manufacturing technologies is highly desirable.Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, or manufacturing where heat transfer and fluid dynamics are critical to product performance.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to stakeholders and manage client relationships.Strategic and analytical thinker, adept at developing solutions that drive tangible business value.Proactive and collaborative leader with a passion for driving customer success.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.Proficiency in the latest thermal technologies and industry best practices.Join the growing team at Conflux Technology.
