You will develop and oversee the delivery of the Hub roadmap and services aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.
This is a senior management role for an experienced delivery manager that wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria.
Working closely with the Manager, Delivery Services, you lead and manage a team through change to ensure a positive organisational culture and ensure the highest standards of performance and integrity are achieved; and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to deliver organisational outcomes.
In this role you will: Lead and manage the Engineering Services Hub to achieve high standards of performance, accountability, collaboration, ethics, and integrity; managing the allocation of resources, significant budgets, business /project planning and reporting on a range of strategic corporate functions; and demonstrating a strong commitment to a positive culture and the development of staff.Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of major IT projects from initiation to closure; defining project scope, goals, and deliverables; developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; proactively monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing timely and relevant mitigation strategies.Own and drive the Hub's pipeline of work in collaboration with the Product Owners, to deliver support, management services, priority enhancements and improvements to EPA's diverse technology applications, including data, integration, content management and ERP platforms.Proactively engage with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations; effectively communicating delivery status updates through established forums, managing stakeholder relationships, and addressing complex issues, concerns and conflicts through consultation and negotiation in a timely and proactive manner.Skills and experience: Proven experience as an IT Delivery Manager or in a similar role, with an extensive track record of successfully delivering complex digital development projects on time and on budget.In-depth knowledge of current project management methodologies, tools, and best practices is required.Demonstrated leadership abilities, including building a shared sense of direction, clarifying priorities; identifies and responds proactively to strategic issues impacting the operating environment.Knowledge of various technologies and platforms used in the EPA, such as Microsoft platforms, cloud computing, web services, CI/CD pipelines and middleware integration platforms.Click the "Apply" button to submit your application and cover letter addressing the key selection criteria.
