Job Description The Opportunity Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) are going through an exciting period as we continue to acquire some of the biggest renewable energy infrastructure projects in the industry.
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a highly experienced Engineer to lead CPP's SA/VIC primary engineering and design business unit. As the Manager of Primary Design, you will play a pivotal role in the primary design of High-Voltage substations and associated infrastructure. Reporting to the Engineering Manager of SA and VIC, you will lead a team of experienced engineers and drafters, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cutting edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, a deep understanding of design engineering principles and excellent leadership skills.
As a market leader in the provision of High-Voltage solutions in the energy transmission industry, our in-house Design & Engineering team comprises of over more than 100 highly skilled engineers, designers and drafting personal that delivers Primary, Secondary, Civil, and Transmission Lines.

Desired Skills and Experience About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
10+ years' experience at a senior level, with substation design and/or utility grid connections Must be a Chartered Engineer Demonstrated experience with primary design and engineering, with knowledge of civil, structural and overhead line design and engineering Excellent leadership skills with a track record of leading successful teams, fostering a strong and collaborative team environment Strong knowledge of industry and different client standards Experience with renewable grid connection projects in Australia Why Join Us?
