In this role you will lead and manage engineering aspects of key water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role offers an opportunity to shape systems and processes, bring governance frameworks to life, and play a pivotal part in our next stage of growth. Key responsibilities include;Lead and oversee engineering management for water and wastewater projects, from design through to construction.Drive the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.Work closely with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.Support the growth of the water and wastewater team through mentorship and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.This role can be based in either our Sydney Office or in one of our other key metropolitan offices including Melbourne or Brisbane with travel as required.
