This role offers a competitive salary of up to $170,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
The OpportunityThe Engineering Manager will lead and develop the Brisbane-based engineering function, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, effective resource allocation, and maintaining high-quality standards.
This role involves managing a small team of engineers and CAD designers, overseeing workshops, and building strong client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.Oversee the daily operations of the Brisbane project, repair, and overhaul workshop.Provide technical leadership and training to enhance team capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, promoting a culture of exceptional service within the team.Manage team performance, development, and recruitment in collaboration with HR.Ensure compliance with Australian standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams of engineers and technical staff.Strong Project Management expertise, including delivering projects over $1 million.Advanced technical knowledge in materials handling, maintenance, or process engineering.A customer-focused approach with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive organisational change.Proficiency in SolidWorks, SAP, and the Microsoft Office suite.Previous experience in the aluminium or heavy industry sector is highly regarded.Experience in Crane / lifting equipment is an added advantage.The BenefitsThis is a Brisbane-based role offering an attractive salary package of up to $170,000 per annum plus superannuation.
