Job Description
As the Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team
Identify and assess geotechnical risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies
Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and codes of practice
Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
Leading safety initiatives and promoting a culture of safety across all engineering activities
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Introduction
Brunel International is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client that is based in Papua New Guinea. This is a FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) position based on a 22/20 roster. As the Engineering Manager, you will manage and lead a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
Essential skills and knowledge
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
5 to 10 years' experience as a Geotechnical Engineer
Experience working on large-scale projects in the resources or infrastructure sectors
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practices
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Willingness to work on a FIFO basis
Completion of a Pre-employment Medical and Police Check
Willingness to acquire IEPNG Registration
