Job Description Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all machinery, equipment and engineering facilities of the hotel and ensure that there is no breakdown of the engineering systems. At regular intervals, inspect the working condition of equipment and engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained.Monitor and record utility consumption and assist the Director of Engineering to maintain efficiency.Assist the Director of Engineering to direct and coordinate the overall activities of the Engineering Department.Conform and adhere to the policies and procedures and rules and regulations as laid down by the hotel in order to achieve the highest levels of guest service.Inspect regularly to assess the state of the buildings and installations, including stonework, brickwork, paint works, coating, flooring, plumbing, and carpentry, as well as heating, air conditioning, hot water tanks, and electrical problems relevant to high and low current.Supervise the operations of air-conditioning plants, boilers, pumps, etc.Follow proper safety measures.Check and ensure that the temperature of cold stores and public areas are maintained as per the specifications.Ensure that all complaints are recorded and attended to promptly ensuring guest satisfaction.Coordinate with other departments for preventive maintenance of the equipment.Check and ensure proper handling, operation, and maintenance of all equipment.Ensure that the desired level of water is maintained in water storage tanks.Check and ensure the working condition of fire detectors, firefighting systems, transformers, and electrical systems.Ensure that proper safety measures have been adhered to and maintain all firefighting equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
