Job Description Your New Role The Engineering Manager is responsible for leadership and management of the engineering people, processes and tools within the sustainment project.
You will work collaboratively with the Operations and Service Delivery Team and key stakeholders to ensure the engineering team operates as efficiently as possible.
You will provide oversight of decision analysis and resolutions to meet desired outcomes of both Leidos and the customer.
Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the team is engaged and productive Managing a diverse team of Security Engineers, providing leadership, career development and training strategies Lead resource recruitment for the team Working closely with the customer in a collaborative fashion Ensuring services are delivered appropriately and leading business as usual projects Continuous improvement of services through people, process and technology Drive Engineering inputs for operational and commercial reporting as required Financial management of the Engineering budget Ensure the team maintain and operate the required processes and tools to deliver fit for purpose and supportable solutions to our customer You will work across the business with; Quality, HR, Finance, and Commercial staff, to help these functions understand various engineering needs. Qualifications About You and What You'll Bring Demonstrated technical and team leadership skills in an operational, client facing collaborative role. Demonstrable experience with formal ITIL Configuration, Change and Release management, reporting and processes. Strong focus on customer service and outcomes.
Experience leading teams and within a matrixed environment.
To be successful for this role, you will need a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance with ability to uplift and maintain an NV2.
