We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Canadian team working from our Montreal or Toronto offices.
The role is responsible for leading the Engineering and Drafting teams in both of our Canadian Offices managing approximately 50 staff.
Primero will provide you (and your family if applicable) with a full relocation package and visa.

Your Key Responsibilities Manning allocation, development and hiring of design resources in collaboration with the Discipline Managers.Continual development of design processes and procedures.Delegation of all projects to Project Design Managers.Maintenance and development of Client relationships.Ensure close out of all design non-conformances.
Communication of lessons learnt to design personnel.Communicate the company policies and values to all design personnel.Ensure design staff competencies are adequate and maintained.Ensure compliance of design products with the Design ProcedureEnsure Design Managers are following established project plans and proceduresEnsure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects, including, cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability.What You 'Can Do' Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.10+ years' experience in minerals processing design.Demonstrated experience working as an Engineering Manager or Design Manager on minerals projects.Proven ability to manage a team of design professionals.Detailed understanding of multi-discipline design delivery within the minerals processing sector.Solid understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices.Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles, and practices.Advanced level of expertise with engineering technical detail.Exceptional planning and organisation skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to continued professional development.Strong work ethic.What we 'Can Do' for you: Competitive CompensationFlexible Working ArrangementsHealth and Wellbeing SupportBenefits & DiscountsEmployee Referral RewardsIf you're looking for a career where you experience more 'Can Do', then we're the team for you.
