Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) Are you an experienced Solutions Engineering Manager passionate about renewables and looking to take on your next role?
You have hands-on experience delivering solar and energy storage solutions and bring with you a solid understanding of hardware and software systems integration.
Your Challenge You will lead the engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing grid-connected battery storage, solar, and EV charger solutions tailored for utility, commercial, and industrial clients.
Your role will involve providing technical analysis and due diligence, managing stakeholder relationships, and overseeing project delivery.
You will ensure that BESS and PV products and services are market-leading, compliant with industry standards, and align with both customer needs and company goals.
Additionally, you will manage the entire lifecycle of energy system products and services—including design, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance—ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience at scale.
The Business You will become part of a dynamic start-up focused on delivering battery storage, renewable energy, and electric vehicle charging solutions to electricity utilities, commercial enterprises, and industrial facility managers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the founding team and play a key role in shaping and building the engineering team.
The position is ideally based in Newcastle or Adelaide and offers a flexible schedule with hybrid working options.
About You You will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or other related field.
You will have at least 5 years of experience designing, installing, and operating battery storage, solar, or renewable energy systems, particularly in the commercial, industrial, or utility sectors.
Your background should include extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical systems, grid integration, and energy management, including handling connection agreements and AEMO compliance.
