What this opportunity involves: The Engineering manager for ANZ will be both a strategic and tactical position in the management and operation of hard services to the client, in accordance with the standards and procedures of the client and JLL.
The scope of the position involves supervising all owned and leased premises in Australia and New Zealand associated with the account.
The Engineering manager will be responsible for managing maintenance programs, corrective maintenance services, and acting as the vendor manager for all vendors providing engineering services and project services within the portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.
The role encompasses the operational management and daily leadership of engineering services, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in operating machinery and systems.
Key Elements and Essential Tasks Primary responsibility is to provide oversight management of the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety equipment and systems.Play a key role in strategic initiatives for Integrated Facilities Management.
Ensure all JLL and client safety procedures are followed and reported.Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of building systems and equipment and ensure building systems are maintained to an industry reliable and efficient state.Foster a culture of proactive behavior by inspecting buildings and all related infrastructure for preventative repairs.Manage and provide oversight operations for maintenance and capital improvements of all Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Building systems.Identify cost savings opportunities within the maintenance program while maintaining 100% uptime.Develop and maintain positive client relationship through due diligence and concise communications.Ensure all managed sites are operating according to state and local building codes as well as site specific SOP and guidelines.Support Leadership, Technical facilities manager & Facilities Officer to ensure site standards, SOW's, compliance, policy and procedures necessary to deliver high-quality client service.Sound like you?
