This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of data analytics technologies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The role you will play: Lead data, analytics and AI strategy and platform efforts at RenderUse big data to answer complex business questions, but also to design semantic layers to best support production and self-service interfacesServe as technical leader for all analytics development projects, leading the planning, scoping, and implementation of full-stack data solutions in conjunction with product managers, UI/UX designers, and platform architectsWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business logic is properly represented in the semantic layer and production environments, where it can be used by product engineers to further evolve the Render product as well as professional services teams to deliver unique solutions to customersTroubleshooting and resolving complex technical issuesThis is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of data analytics technologies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Relevant experience in advanced analytics/analytics engineeringExperience building machine learning applications, using industry-standard technologies for production-focussed machine learning (Python, SQL, PyTorch/Tensorflow, Kubernetes/Docker, etc.
)Strong experience in building technical strategies and roadmaps for analytics platformsDeep experience in SQL and advanced database design, with a strong understanding of optimisation and performance best practicesExperience in data-warehousing concepts such as star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, ELT/ETL, and MPP databasesDemonstrated knowledge of business intelligence (BI) technology such as Tableau, PowerBI, Sisense, etc.Experience with big-data technologies e.g.
