Responsibilities You'll have the opportunity to work on features and contribute to the WeGuide product. Whether your jam lies in front-end development with the Ionic Framework, back-end development with Ruby on Rails, analytics with Metabase, or infrastructure with Amazon AWS and Heroku, we will strive to match you with engaging projects that suit your interests. You might get to do some R & D; we may ask you to build a proof of concept or test out some new technology. Use your technical experience and skills to help the QA team verify new features. Collaborate daily with the delivery team and be an outstanding team member. What you'll learn Gain hands-on experience building web applications and APIs using Ruby on Rails. Opportunity to develop front-end mobile application code with the Ionic framework and AngularJS. Learn the importance of test-driven development and unit testing. Practice good software engineering principles, including clean code, pull requests, and peer reviews. Understand the fundamentals of Agile Software Development. Discover what it's like to work on a development team building medical software applications used by hundreds of thousands of people. Experience the professional life of a Software Engineer. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
