We're looking for a Geologist or Engineering Geologist to join an enthusiastic team delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK. Here at SOCOTEC, we deliver excellence to our customers by recruiting and retaining the very best industry talent.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Your confidence and knowledge of ground investigation techniques An ability to prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment An ability to act as a Site Agent or a support role, supervising multiple activities and staff for short and longer-term projects An ability to Perform in-situ testing and sampling in accordance with the specification and current technical standards and to log Soil and Rock in accordance with BS5930:2015 and the specification Accurate record-keeping of all fieldwork tasks performed Good liaison skills with clients as well as colleagues SOCOTEC is the UK's leading provider of testing, inspection, and certification services.
