About the role
Due to several exciting projects being won, we are looking for an experienced Engineering Drafter / Designer to play a pivotal role in our company and be the face of the division for many projects and manage key stakeholders' expectations. Reporting to the Section manager, you will be integral in the continued growth of our company, receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals, and improving on processes and systems.
Responsibilities Conducting and preparing diagrams, charts, tables, plans, and designs for the company's related civil projects under the guidance of the engineering manager. Check the design and documentation of self and others to ensure it adheres to relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Ensure client briefs are correctly interpreted and are in focus during the engineering process to maximise efficiency and minimise rework. Conduct site visits and inspections as required, supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. Reviewing civil works and planning as well as managing maintenance and repair operations. Manage client expectations and concerns. Other related tasks assigned. About you
We are looking for an experienced senior engineering drafter who has:
3-5+ years' work experience in engineering drafting work. Knowledge of engineering drafting legislation, standards and systems, their application to design requirements and how design can impact operational risk. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent work experience. Ability to lead civil engineering services design and documentation on assigned projects. Confident; able to provide sound technical advice to external and internal stakeholders. Team player able to work on multidisciplinary projects. Excellent communication, verbal and written skills. Highly proficient in AutoCAD and fundamental Revit experience. Benefits
