A key focus within this program of works is the delivery of our Advanced Energy Management System (AEMS). This role goes beyond project oversight; it involves leading a team that plays a vital role in the future of energy management. Your responsibilities will include strategic management, applying technical expertise, and fostering a commitment to innovation and excellence.
You will:
Drive the development of technical solutions, including designs, design reviews, installation, and commissioning of control systems and associated technologiesLead and direct project teams, ensuring effective coordination and interdependencies managementIdentify, develop, and implement the AEMS solution and support deliverables including solution designs, environment management plans and data testingProactively monitor and manage delivery, quality, and risks and issues within the team's delivery requirements and schedulesAct as the external customer technical interface with key stakeholders such as generators, DNSPs and AEMOOversee factory and site acceptance testing, procurement plans, tender evaluations, and negotiationsYour expertise Degree in electrical engineering with significant industry experience in management, information technology or industrial control systemsRegistered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ)Strong experience in leading large technical teams, fostering a professional, motivating work environmentProject management proficiency, with a knack for delivering projects and operational activities on time and within budgetProven leadership in safety management, with a track record of identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategiesStrategic operational planning skills, with the ability to translate business goals into measurable, cost-effective operational plansBe the start of every possibility To kick start your career at Powerlink, apply by clicking the button above, attaching your resume and cover letter on our careers page before midnight on 13th of October 2024.
