About the role
We are looking to engage the services of an experienced Site Supervisor/Foreman specialising in the industrial sector to join our Construction Division in a diverse and rewarding job role working with some of our major clients.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities
Vision for safety implementation and management from the planning phase through to the site delivery phase of projects; Coordinate and supervise trade labour, plant & equipment and material deliveries on the project site; Assist with the development of construction delivery programs and status and drive projects accordingly.
Report to management regularly with progress updates; Provide technical and logistical support to trade subcontractors through healthy working relationships with these trades; Ability to apply on-the-spot problem solving solutions to the day-to-day challenges that are faced; Conduct worksite safety and environmental inspections; Perform Quality Assurance (QA) worksite inspections with client representatives; Present neat documentation, correspondence and maintain detailed daily site records; Follow ENAP's company processes and procedures; Communicate daily with management for thorough status updates on the site delivery process.
Key selection criteria
Thorough, in-depth understanding and knowledge of the industrial building sector, construction trades and construction details; TAFE Diploma or Trade Qualification in Construction is preferred; Proven competency in managing construction specific trades; Minimum 5 years in a Construction Site Supervisory role within the industrial sector; Demonstrated ability in directing and enforcing site resources to comply with construction programmes; Sound knowledge of National Construction Code and have the confidence to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering reports; Established capacity to provide consistent leadership and resolve site issues is essential; Provide assistance in the operational support and advice to team members and colleagues; Ability to oversee various minor projects at any one time; Have ambition to establish a long-term career opportunity with this expanding department within ENAP.
