We are currently seeking an Engineering and Reliability Manager for our client based in Brisbane's Western Suburbs.
In this role, you will lead the Engineering Team and be responsible for ensuring efficiency in areas of safety, asset care, machine uptime, and reduction in unplanned stops.
You will also play a vital role in leading capital projects to drive continuous improvement across the site.
Role Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and direct all production and packing activities for the assigned value stream Meet and exceed established KPIs, including OEE, giveaway, absenteeism, and attainment to plan Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve manufacturing standards Optimize production scheduling in collaboration with Operations Manager and Production Planner Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations Actively participate in the NPD process and support the manufacturing of new products Coach and support employees to develop collaborative working relationships with all stakeholder functions Manage team's time and attendance, payroll, and leave in line with company policies Ensure accurate reporting of operating data and maintenance requirements Attend operations meetings and promote operating performance and support requirements Key Competencies Required: Drive for Results Attention to Detail Leadership Timely Decision Making Organizational Agility Managing and Measuring Work Process Management Qualifications and Experience: Trade qualification in a relevant discipline Previous experience in high-tempo, on-demand production within FMCG food manufacturing Understanding of quality and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment Experience working with PM systems Proven background leading production groups with the ability to drive change Strong understanding and appreciation of safety Energetic and driven with potential for growth in senior leadership positions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you can make a significant impact, join our client's team as the Engineering and Reliability Manager.
