What this opportunity involves:
Join JLL today as our Engineering & Operations Manager for a premium grade office complex connected by a vibrant retail plaza.
You will provide hands-on leadership of engineering services operations, with a focus spanning energy sustainability, ongoing building commissioning and operational improvements, strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, through to the daily operation of all property services.
A snapshot of the day-to-day duties: Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes and services.Conducting effective and efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the properties.Managing and operating the property in a manner which continuously improves the performance and reduces effects on the environment.Achieving sustainability KPI's set in consultation with the owners of the property on an annual basis.Management, training and delegation of duties to Property Services Supervisors.Participating in the EHS Leadership Team.In consultation with the management team, preparing annual property operations and capital works budgets and monitoring and updating budgets on a quarterly basis.Delivery of all Capital Works projects on program and budget. Before you apply it's worth knowing what we are looking for: You have had experience managing the operations of high-quality office assets with a customer centric mindset.Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential, and you are able to interact confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Experience managing teams and projects with strong knowledge related to building systems and operations is required, with an understanding of industry regulations and best practices.A positive approach to meeting client's needs and managing tenant expectations is essential.
