Analyse lost production data, conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations, and develop improvement recommendations. Review condition monitoring reports and recommend corrective action. The position will have constant interaction with the maintenance planning and execution to define effective maintenance strategies.This is a complex and challenging operation. The circuit and areas are typical of a hydrometallurgical process plant.The process plant areas consists of:A Beneficiation circuit , consisting of crushers and grinding mills with associated support systems and process circuits including conveying systems, vibrating screens, centrifugal and P.D pumps, pipework and cyclones, various sized tankage with agitation.A Leach circuit consisting of High Pressure Acid Leach Trains which include autoclaves and associated support systems, HP vessels, HP centrifugal and P.D. pumps and pipework also an Atmospheric Leach circuit with associated centrifugal pumps, pipework and various sized tankage with agitation.A Hydro circuit with associated centrifugal pumps, pipework and various sized tankage with agitation, pressure and vacuum filters including associated support systems.A Utilities plant which includes a Sulphuric Acid plant, steam turbines and diesel generators for power generation, desalination plant, and air compressors.Key Accountabilities Analyse causes of Lost Production;Conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations on chronic and catastrophic failures;Develop improvement solutions including maintenance strategy development;Review inspection reports and recommend corrective actions;Liaising with contractors for the delivery of technical services and analysis of plant performance;Work with the Engineering Superintendents to improve the reliability of their areas; andPerform any other duties are requested by your supervisor.Skills, Knowledge and Experience A professional Engineering Degree recognised by the Institution of Engineers Australia;Minimum of 5 years' experience in a mining plant maintenance role; 2 years of which should be in conducting Root Cause Analysis or continuous improvement teams;Knowledge of Pronto or other enterprise maintenance management system;Sound analytical and problem solving skills;Skills in root cause analysis and failure investigation;The ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people from diverse technical and workplace backgrounds;Experience Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word; andA WA Manual Driver's Licence.Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.What can I earn as a Reliability Engineer#J-18808-Ljbffr
