How you can help make a better world of work We're seeking a Software Engineer with experience or an interest in Ruby and Go and how data is moved around in distributed systems.
Day to day, you will work with the team on key features within a distributed architecture, ensuring architectural, testing, and coding practices meet the shared standards and patterns. You will foster the culture and collaboration within your team, as well as shape the work to create opportunities for ownership and growth for engineers in your team.
You will be working in the employee space in the Ingest and Enrich team, where we provide internal Culture Amp teams with external data held in HRIS systems and enrich it for the whole Culture Amp platform.

You will do: Build end-to-end features in collaboration with the engineers on your team. Build products and services that support internal engineering teams. Participate in team rituals, cultivating and growing the engineering culture, productivity, and quality. Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering commitment to product quality. Re-architect legacy code and prepare it to scale for the future of the product and the team. You will have: 2-4 years of experience working on complex systems and delivering quality software. Curiosity, creativity, persistence, and a desire to get things done. A commitment to growing together (yourself, your teammates, your software). A track record of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and engineering managers. Technology we use and teach: Go, Kotlin, Typescript, Ruby, YAML. AWS. HTTP, JSON, Avro, REST.
