The Auriga Marine division is part of Auriga Group, one of the fastest growing marine and aviation organisations in Australia, operating across 20 sites nationally with a workforce of 350+ people. The Auriga Marine division provides essential logistics and maritime supply chain services to numerous remote communities and mines located across Northern Australia, including Wadeye, Arnhem Land, the Tiwi Islands, and Groote Eylandt, and also in Western Australia.
Auriga Marine is a growing coastal shipping company operating in Northern Territory and Western Australian waters. These roles require people who want to build a career in marine; you will need initiative, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work within a well-designed Safety System.
The Auriga Marine division is looking for experienced Mates to work on landing barges operating in the Northern Territory, with a 28:28-day roster. This even-time roster is a great opportunity for anyone.
WHAT THIS OPPORTUNITY OFFERS:
Family friendly roster with 28:28 Work for a tier 1 company Stable role with a nationally growing company POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum qualification of Marine Engine Driver I (MED1) or Marine Engineers Class 3 (MEC3) Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness Wearing of appropriate PPE Comply with company policy and guidelines Assist in keeping a safe work environment Senior First Aid Certificate RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to):
The safe and efficient operation of all machinery aboard the ship Ensuring the company's planned maintenance system is up to date (Online system) Maintaining sufficient bunkers and other essential engine-related stores and consumables Conduct safe and efficient loading and transferring of bunkers and lube oils The Auriga Group is looking for team players who can take their roles and accomplishments to the next level.
