Reporting through to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your career in this complex mining space, whilst working with a variety of stakeholders across the company.This role is based in Adelaide on a Monday - Friday basis (with flexibility). Regular travel to site will be required.In this role you will:Have a strong focus on Safety, Safety Leadership, Risk and Sustainability.Ensure consistent fit for purpose engineering standards are applied, and conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Global Standards, Our Code and relevant legislation.Provide engineering design, assessment, and support to operational teams across Copper SA.Provide technical guidance and knowledge to support projects, engineering service providers, maintenance, operations, third parties and contractors to align with Copper SA engineering standards.Review, update and approve the complete set of technical documentation (engineering standards, equipment standards, specifications, datasheets, procedures, programs and drawings) from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated and maintained.Validate the content of technical documentation is maintained to reflect the "as built" condition as per authorized modifications and changes.About YouMechanical Engineering Degree qualification with eligibility to apply for Engineers Australia CPEng registration.Desired to have experience in a variety of areas including Pumps, Tanks, Piping, Valves, Conveyors, Smelters, Pressure equipment and minerals processing equipment.
