We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join us in this key role within our West Midlands region, based from our office near Tamworth with agile/hybrid working. This role will be primarily focussed on predevelopment activity.
The successful candidate will control and co-ordinate all technical information to support land bids and to progress to planning applications once a site has been secured, ensuring all approvals are obtained and information issued to allow for a programmed start on site. They will also carry out full assessments of technical designs and strategies and work with the regional commercial team to provide a robust cost delivery plan.
They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, in particular the regional Technical team and external consultants.

Skills, knowledge & experience We are looking for an established predevelopment Engineer who embodies our Keepmoat values; passionate about the housebuilding industry, they will work in a straightforward way, possessing strong organisational skills with a good commercial and contractual awareness.They will be creative with a keen eye for detail and ability to process technical information. They will be collaborative, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong negotiator with proven experience in gaining consent on complex technical approvals.
The successful candidate will have previous exposure to a similar role within a UK housebuilder and be comfortable using engineering related software .
