Full timeCompetitive Base Salary + Site AllowanceReporting to the Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer, this position will assist and provide engineering support under professional supervision and mentoring to Project and tendering teams.Core responsibilities include:Participate in project engineering assignments entailing technical specifications and the preparation of detailed plans.Maintain communication with clients, project teams, design teams, and subcontractors.Provide engineering services to the project team to assist in successful project delivery.Maintain thorough knowledge of the contract, including engineering and technical specifications.Assist in the preparation and implementation of Project Management plan/s.Prepare programs for allocated work packages that meet the objectives of the project.Monitor progress ensuring that work quality and techniques are of a high standard, and regularly report on progress and findings.Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision-making.Ensure that drawings are distributed to all the relevant subcontractors and that all documents being used for construction are the current revision.Read and understand subcontract and specifications to relay accurately to the project team.Identify errors and omissions in drawings and submit them for review to Project Engineer.Refer potential problems to the Senior Project team.Who We AreWe are an Australian-owned company that has successfully delivered integrated construction and engineering solutions for over 40 years in Australia's infrastructure, resources, and energy sectors.What We Are Looking ForTo be considered for this role:Must be willing to work FIFO and DIDO rosters on Projects in regional and remote locations (predominately Queensland)Must have Work Rights in AustraliaBachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers AustraliaExcellent written, communication, and people skills.Sound computer literacy skills.Ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation and external clients.Maintain personal accountability.Self-motivated.High-level of attention to detail.Our CultureOur people are the strength of our business, contributing to our vision of being the market leader in project delivery and achieving sustainable growth.
