Job Description Engineer - 52469 PermanentSydney or Melbourne based How will I help?
This Engineer role sits within the Treasury Technology area of the business and will specialise in QRM (Quantitative Risk Management). As part of this team, you will be responsible for responding to APRA regulatory changes by uplifting business rules implementation and uplifting controls and process optimisation throughout the end-to-end interest rate and liquidity risk process. We are looking for a driven individual to adopt treasury solution design standards within the project's development and delivery space.
Major accountabilities in the role include:
Assist in the diagnosis and root-cause analysis of issues, by employing a strong eye for detail and troubleshooting skills within project/BAU.Ensure that all application changes are designed and developed to a high standard, focused on the customer requirement, but also Operational suitability.Evaluate effectiveness of current SDLC tools, processes and methodologies and make recommendations for continuous improvements.Develop relationships with Technical Leads in the broader team to gain insights and share experiences.Responsible for the implementation of quality and operational reliable QRM and application solutions to complex Business Data requirements in both major project and ongoing continuous improvements.Participate in sprint planning, with a keen eye for detail of critical path delivery through the various milestones to Production.Propose improvement & enhancement ideas by looking for opportunities within project and/or BAU. You will need to have the below skills/experience:
SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS - Experience in design preferable. Dev Ops toolsets, and experience managing code base.It would be great if you had QRM, C#.3+ years experience within the IT Industry, specialising in Database development.Experience in Agile Teams, who have had DevOps responsibilities.Treasury experience highly desired, particularly in areas of Interest Rate Risk or Liquidity Risk.Change implementation planning and management experience.
