We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Engagement Officer, International to join our collegial and supportive team.Be challenged and imagine with usAs the Engagement Officer, International, you will play a critical role in coordinating and advising on various aspects of internationalisation, international partnerships and retention. You will also develop and deliver a range of internationalisation initiatives and projects, support recruitment activities, and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Education and Innovation this role will:Drive partnership agreement development, including agreement drafting and collaboration with external partners.Maximise International student enrolments through the efficient renewal of International Partnerships Agreements.Draft correspondence, analyse data, prepare reports and service the College's international committeeDevelop and manage credit transfer processes and agreementsProvide high-level support to ensure the successful development and execution of a variety of projects.Contribute to innovative initiatives to deliver the University's international strategy with specific focus on the Asia Pacific.Actively promote and support a culture of business process improvement.You will inspire us with your:Strong critical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility to manage competing deadlinesAbility to take ownership of your role and drive continuous improvementCapacity to upskill and gain exposure in governance and procedural tasks.This fixed term position is full time at a HEW6 Higher Education Level until the end of June 2025 located at our Honeysuckle Campus.(Awabakal and Worimi land).A bout our UniversityThe University of Newcastle stands as a global leader distinguished by a commitment to equity and excellence.
