The Opportunity As an Engagement Officer , you will be instrumental in fostering meaningful relationships and driving collaborative efforts with diverse stakeholders.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Engagement, your role will contribute to the development and implementation of engagement strategies that align stakeholders with the organisation's vision.
You will also support key initiatives and projects aimed at improving the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Your responsibilities will include: Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support initiatives that align with the organisation's goals.
Project Support: Assist in planning, executing, and reporting on engagement projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational objectives.
Research and Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies and conduct research to identify opportunities for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting: Create culturally appropriate and clear reports, minutes, briefs, and presentations to support organisational efforts.
Community Engagement: Advocate for the needs and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, ensuring their voices are reflected in projects and initiatives.
Secretariat Support: Provide support for councils and collaborative networks, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and following up on action items.
Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, ensuring messages are respectful, accessible, and aligned with the organisation's values.
