Engagement Lead - Energy Projects

The Energy & Resources (E&R) Program delivers impact and value to improve the safety, reliability, resilience, and productivity of the energy and resources sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region.
The Engagement Lead (Energy Projects), under the direction of the Energy Sector Lead and as part of the broader E&R team, is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of major energy projects and contributing to shaping new initiatives. They work within project teams to define and support project deliverables, lead internal and external stakeholder engagement, provide guidance to technical teams (e.g., science and technology subject matter experts), and contribute to communication and training activities.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated engagement expert with broad technical skills, demonstrated experience in delivering to stakeholder expectations, and co-developing solutions to meet stakeholder requirements. An understanding of stakeholder engagement, science and technology, and weather and climate are essential to the success of this role.
This position would suit an applicant with outstanding communication skills, who has a high degree of initiative and ability to self-manage. Experience establishing strong working relationships with international and domestic stakeholders, customers, and partners is essential. Domestic and international travel is a requirement of this role, and the occupant will work across different cultures.
