Who we are looking for
We have an ongoing full-time position for an Engagement & Education Coordinator, based in Warrnambool. This position comes with a generous salary of $96,568 to $107,722 p.a. plus superannuation.
We're looking for an enthusiastic professional to lead a small team and deliver our community engagement, education and community partnership programs.
What you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, you'll:

Lead and inspire a team of employees in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Deliver a comprehensive, proactive and timely community engagement and stakeholder relationship service.
Champion our Engagement Framework and build the capacity of other employees to deliver best-practice community engagement.
Ensure our community grants, sponsorship and water for community programs deliver shared value for us and our communities.
Deliver a strategic education program suitable for all ages to build community understanding of our services across South West Victoria.

What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with:

Qualifications in community engagement, communications, public relations, social planning, and/or relevant experience in this field.
A minimum of five years' experience in a relevant area of work with a successful track record, including team leadership.
Experience in designing and implementing community engagement and stakeholder relations programs.
Knowledge and experience in liaising with water industry stakeholders, including local government, environmental groups, local community groups and special interest bodies.
An understanding of communications and engagement within a government organisation.
