Our state government client is seeking an Industry Engagement Coordinator for an initial 6-month contract with a possible 6-month extension in their Redcliffe, WA office.
Rate: $45-55 per hour plus Super (candidates submitted at the rate of their choosing depending on relevant experience)
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Duration: 6 months with possible 6-month extension (12 months max due to secondment)
Location: Redcliffe, WA
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)

ROLE DESCRIPTION Title: Industry Engagement Coordinator (IEC) Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) Industry Engagement Program, including the facilitation of industry information sessions, focus groups, surveys, program rollouts, awareness campaigns and other industry engagement activities related to HVS products, programs, and initiatives.Key Deliveries Develop and manage the HVS Industry Engagement Program, including the development of project plans, change management and communication plans in relation to HVS industry engagement activities.Develop, facilitate, and deliver industry information sessions, focus groups, surveys, program rollouts and other industry engagement campaigns related to HVS products, programs, and initiatives.Co-ordinate the development and delivery of targeted communications for the heavy vehicle industry.Develop, manage, and review communication and stakeholder management plans.Develop and maintain the HVS stakeholder register and related stakeholder mapping framework.Facilitate communications between the HVS and Strategy and Communications (S&C) Directorates.Co-ordinate review of industry communication material with management and subject matter experts across HVS Directorate prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.Ensure feedback mechanisms are in place and adhered to, to gather feedback and review the effectiveness of key communications and industry engagement programs and initiatives.Stakeholder Relationship Management Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with other Directorates, Transport Portfolio agencies, industry bodies and stakeholders.Liaise on behalf of HVS with key industry stakeholders on issues that affect the HVS Branch.Represent HVS and Main Roads on relevant internal and external committees.Provide advice to Director HVS, and HVS Branch Managers on high level and/or contentious stakeholder matters and issues relating to heavy vehicle services.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, OR EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL: Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships with external and internal stakeholders to inform and improve Heavy Vehicle Services programs, products, and services.Demonstrated experience working across multiple projects and delivering events and/or conferences to a high standard.Exceptional organisational skills, high level of attention to detail and initiative in a fast-paced regulatory environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including rendering (technical) information into meaningful, clear, and concise communications for stakeholders.DESIRABLE: Well-developed organisational, negotiation and problem-solving skills.Experience in project communication and change management activities, including the development and delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement plans.PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Current National Police Clearance or able to obtain if successful.Full working rights within Australia.Current C Class Driver's licence.HOW TO APPLY
