About the roleIt's an exciting time at Enerven. Our business is going from strength to strength, with a number of high profile, large-scale renewable energy projects secured across Australia. As the success and reputation of our business continues to grow, we are focused on elevating our business support functions to ensure we set the business up for ongoing success.
Our Finance and Commercial team have recently restructured to take the level of support and business partnering they offer to the next level. This new position has been created to focus on providing finance business partner support for Business Overhead areas and offering general accounting assistance across the Finance Team.
Responsibilities include:Provide business partner support for Business Overhead areas – includes delivering month-end, budget and forecast processesSupport with monthly analysis variance and query resolutionsSupport with ad hoc analysis across the Enerven Finance TeamConduct month-end general ledger processing (journals, prepayments, cost transfers and others)Preparing financial accounts reconciliationsAssist in progressing process improvement initiatives across the departmentContribute to the ongoing improvements of finance policies, processes, procedures and systems including participation in projectsAdditionally, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills by providing support to the FP&A team as required.
This role will be offered in a 24mth Term Contract basis.
About youYou will ideally have a few years professional experience post-graduation and be eager to take your career to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and innovative Finance team where you will get exposure to broader Finance functions. Specific qualifications and experience required include:A Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or similar disciplineSome experience in a Graduate Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Audit Associate or Junior Finance Analyst role, or similarA strong desire to join a growing business as part of a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative teamAbout usAt Enerven, we want our work to make a difference.
