With a significant program of regulatory compliance uplift underway, we are looking for an Operations Regulatory Compliance Lead to increase our regulatory compliance maturity through the transition.

Reporting to our Head of Operations Excellence, this role will see you lead the regulatory compliance process and provide regulatory compliance expertise to our leaders and their teams.

In this role you will focus your time on:
Leading the implementation of the regulatory compliance framework within the Operations and Projects business unit and partnering with our leadership team to effectively manage regulatory compliance obligations.
Providing expertise, insight, guidance, and facilitation to teams to develop new obligations and review existing obligations.
Facilitating business unit regulatory compliance forums and ensuring that regulatory compliance is effective at site.
Leading the reporting and analysis of compliance status and developing analysis of incident and/or breach data to inform remediation action plans.
Championing regulatory compliance across the business unit and contributing to the enhancement of regulatory compliance culture and capability within Operations and Projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Key to the success of this role will be collaborating with the broader Energy Operations & Projects teams and enterprise regulatory compliance group to ensure optimised understanding and performance in relation to regulatory compliance obligations.

Specifically, we are preferencing candidates with:
Bachelor's degree in business, law, accounting, engineering, or aligned/relevant degree.
Proven track record of partnering with business leaders on regulatory compliance matters, particularly in a heavy industrial, utilities or projects setting.
High level reasoning ability to facilitate analysis and problem solving in complex situations.
A proven ability to work consistently and reliably toward the achievement of business goals and effective at working with others to achieve collective outcomes.
