Energy Markets Analyst Intern

Our Energy Management Department is looking for an Energy Markets Analyst Intern to join its Markets team from March 2025 as an end-of-studies internship.
Neoen currently has over 2.5 GW of wind, solar and battery storage assets in operations in Australia, and aims to reach 5 GW of assets in operations or under construction by 2025.
The Energy Management team mission is to optimize operating assets in the energy markets and to support Neoen's commercial expansion plans.
The team is defined by a combination of market expertise and advanced quantitative capabilities.
The Energy Markets Analyst Intern will support the Markets team in the following tasks:
Perform market analysis:Monitor and analyse market activity and market performances of our operating assetsDeliver data-driven analysis and reports to Neoen Australia Senior ManagementDevelop and implement tools to automatize market monitoring and reportingExpand our internal modelling capabilities:Assess market fundamentals and trends, and evaluate impacts for Neoen's portfolio of assets (wind and solar cannibalization, negative prices…)Contribute to the development of innovative business models (Baseload PPAs, Virtual Battery…) by building new modelling and simulation toolsBuild power price forecasts, short to long term #J-18808-Ljbffr
