In this role, you will:
Work on first-in-market transactions with clients leading the energy transition and decarbonisation agenda, both domestically and internationallyProvide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of energy and sustainability matters, including transactional and advisory workDraft, review, and finalize legal documents related to clean energy transactions, M&A, project development contracts, and financingWork with great people across multi-disciplinary teams and create lasting relationshipsSupport the team in pursuing work in sustainability, regulatory, and climate-focused areasExpand your knowledge and learning outside the traditional legal skills and continue to grow as a sector specialistWhat we're looking for Minimum of 4 years post-admission experience, ideally with a focus on the energy sector.Strong background in energy law, sustainability credentials or transferrable skills from infrastructure or related sectors.Excellent drafting and documentation skills, with ability to handle complex legal matters independently.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support cross-disciplinary and client relationships.Acknowledgement of Country EY acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which EY offices are located around Australia.
