Position Overview: As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving technical excellence and process improvement initiatives within their retail energy program of work. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyse business requirements, continuous process improvement, identify opportunities for optimisation, and implement innovative solutions to enhance trading performance.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.Utilise strong technical understanding to translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.Work closely with development teams to implement enhancements and new features within the trading platform.Perform system testing and validation to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for platform issues, working to resolve technical challenges in a timely manner.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and maximise performance.Requirements: Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field.Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role within the energy sector, preferably in retail energy or energy trading.Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development principles and methodologies.Experience with energy trading platforms or similar financial trading systems is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated track record of driving process improvement initiatives and implementing innovative solutions.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Benefits: Competitive daily rate.12 month contractOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the energy sector.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Hybrid work arrangements.Contribution to a meaningful cause: shaping the future of sustainable energy trading.How to Apply!
