What success looks like in this role: High-Level Description: Position will be a dedicated Microsoft Exchange On-premises and/or Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online (EXO) and SharePoint administration.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Expert-Level in Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 Server and integrated technologies. Strong hands-on experience in complex Microsoft Exchange enterprise environment. Expert-Level experience in Configuring and Administration of High Availability environment for Exchange Services in Hybrid mode. Strong experience with Email hygiene solutions such as EXO Advanced Protection, Cisco IronPort, Proof-Point, McAfee, MessageLabs. Environmental changes – consolidation, platform upgrades, and divestitures of Exchange, Office 365/Exchange Online. Strong experience in archiving technologies for Exchange. Responsible for working with the Unisys Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Unisys Client Executive (CE) and/or direct client manager to strengthen Unisys' position as a strategic partner, managed services provider, and IT Services Provider for the client. Superior customer-facing and technical skills including the ability to develop a "trusted advisor" relationship with Enterprise customers. Provide recommendations on the evolution of the infrastructure to meet short, medium, and long-term objectives as it relates to Digital Workplace Collaboration. Provide recommendations regarding improvement and enhancements of the technologies supporting Digital Workplace Collaboration. Test, where appropriate and possible, in a production simulated laboratory environment any new Digital Workplace Collaboration technology prior to production implementation. Optimize the performance of the systems environment, including reconfiguration, maintenance, and/or upgrades. Plan, Develop, Test, Provision, Administer and manage all related systems related to Digital Workplace Messaging. Manage and plan both hardware and software upgrades as necessary for Digital Workplace Messaging technologies. Create and maintain all documentation for all architecture, build, integration, transition, and maintenance phases of the Digital Workplace Messaging technologies. Conduct hardware capacity planning and make recommendations based on future direction and needs as it relates to supporting Digital Workplace Messaging technologies. Support partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors that make up the Digital Workplace technology area. Performance Optimization of SharePoint server. Root Cause analysis for issues on SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 & SharePoint Online. SharePoint Server level issues and user-related issues. Implementation, Upgrade, Migration & Troubleshooting complex SharePoint issues. Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power pages, Bots, and Power BI). SharePoint implementations + delivery of: Intranets, Document Management, Record Management, O365 Group Creation/Site Provisioning engines a SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive platform. Microsoft Teams collaboration, information governance, security, and compliance. External user/Guest user access policy configuration and management. Needs proven experience in Microsoft Whiteboards, MS Forms, List, Viva insights, etc. Root Cause analysis for issues on SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, MS Office apps, etc. Implementation, Upgrade, Migration & Troubleshooting complex SharePoint issues. Experience in migrating from SharePoint on-premise/Home drives to SharePoint Online/OneDrive. Extensive experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. SPFx and PowerShell experience. Knowledge of SharePoint Best Practices. Encouraging user adoption and contributing to the development of a business-wide understanding of the potential of SharePoint. Identifying and designing training materials and making resources available to users. Organizing and delivering demonstration and training sessions. You will be successful in this role if you have: Necessary skills: Expert-Level in messaging technologies such as Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019, and Office 365 Exchange Online. Advance-Level understanding of Email hygiene technologies like Cisco IronPort, Proof-Point, McAfee, and Message Labs. Advanced experience with SMTP relay system. High-Level understanding of Microsoft's Productivity Software – Collaboration Suite (MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Strong understanding of ITIL. Must be able to collaborate effectively with other associates within the organization. Ability and willingness to take direction from team manager, SDM, and Client Executives. Ability to work in a team environment. Able to adapt to a changing technical environment. Ability to coach other members of the team in their area of expertise. Ability to communicate clearly with all team members and end-users. Ability to work with a sense of urgency. Customer-facing presentation and consulting skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell. Certifications: ITIL Foundation (optional), Any Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.
