The role
A Product Specialist role exists in our Urology team that supports and promotes cutting edge prostheses and urological medical technologies. You will join a team with considerable shared medical devices experience. To contribute to the teams shared success, you will be a dynamic, dedicated, and hard-working medical devices sales professional who is driven to exceed your targets. Endotherapeutics' Product Specialists are experts in their clinical area and actively promote, educate, and support the adoption of the specified portfolio of Endotherapeutics products.
• Meet and overachieve sales targets and KPI's
• Develop call plans relevant to overall strategy
• Maintain and utilise CRM database (Salesforce) to maintain contacts and develop business plan for forecasting
• Develop a coherent territory plan that includes a strategy for achieving sales targets, protecting existing business, and identification of key accounts and customers.
• Work with the Product Manager to achieve strategic objectives, including conversion of major accounts and growth in existing accounts
• Constantly improve and increase product and clinical knowledge
• Develop relationships with all stakeholders in accounts that are relevant to your sales objectives
• Minimum of 1 day per month spent with key customers
• Minimum of 4 days spent on the road and in operating theatres with customers per week
• Attendance at seminars and conferences as determined by the Product Manager
• Submit all documentation in a timely manner, including monthly expense reports
Territory: Includes Brisbane South and West, Gold Coast, Northern NSW, plus Mackay & Rockhampton
About you
Education: Tertiary qualifications preferred Proven track record of experience and success within medical device sales or another healthcare sales related role Demonstrated experience in developing close customer relationships and providing high levels of customer service support Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to learn and communicate clinical and technical information Ability to analyse sales reports and spreadsheets to identify trends and changes Adept in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint Committed and proactive to ongoing learning and development Team player who enjoys working towards shared goals Dynamic, out of the box thinker who also enjoys a challenge Organised, punctual, professional We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and value diversity.
