Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical)
Permanent Part Time and Casual positions available Opportunities currently exist for enthusiastic nurses with a passion for Aged Care to join our innovative and committed team.

Our preferred candidate will have: Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.Sound organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Sound written and computer skills.Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.Ability to communicate constructively and effectively with key stakeholders.The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous: Knowledge of the national Aged Care standards.Recent clinical experience in a residential aged care facility.IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
About our organisation The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer-focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care, and community health services to 47,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural, and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond.
These positions are based at Andrews House Aged Care Facility in Trafalgar, located 45 minutes from Pakenham with a stress-free commute along the freeway and a short 5-minute walk from the Trafalgar Train Station.
Andrews House is supported by numerous volunteers and has access to a variety of allied health professionals.
