Administration Officer (Events/Teaching and Learning Compliancy) Riverside Christian College is a rapidly growing Prep – 12 independent Christian College located in Maryborough, Queensland providing both Day School and Distance Education.

Riverside is seeking an Administration Officer to work on a full time basis (option to split the position into two part time positions for suitable applicants) within our Student Services Team. The position will be responsible for coordinating the College Sporting Program, administrative support and coordination of College events as well as additional administrative support to the Director Teaching and Learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in coordinating the College Sporting Program (including but not limited to athletics, cross country and swimming carnivals). Provide administrative support for the Fraser Coast Interschool Equestrian Competition. Work with the Events Team, keeping the Principal up to date as required. Carry out administrative and operational tasks within the Events team. Manage correspondence and events relating to Wide Bay School Sports. Develop an annual calendar of sporting events and assist with planning and promotion. Assist with organising catering for events as required. Maintain and promote the Extra-Curricular calendar and term prospectus. Develop and maintain College Alumni database. Perform compliance-related administrative tasks, such as performing data entry, submission checks, preparing compliancy documents and editing submitted documents, completing regular compliance audit reports, and scanning and filing compliancy documents as required. Prepare assigned publications, policies and procedures as pertaining to the area of teaching and learning. Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including staff and students. Maintain resources, equipment and the physical environment to the highest standards, placing student safety as paramount in day-to-day operations. Comply with College policies, procedures and practices, including Workplace Health and Safety and the Staff Code of Conduct. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Administrative qualifications (Cert III or greater) or demonstrated experience in an administrative role. Ability to work independently. Experience in coordinating large-scale events. Possesses excellent computer and technological skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective coordination and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask and work within strict deadlines. Possesses strong Christian character and supports the College Christian values.
