Are you looking for the next step in your career? We have a unique opportunity for a EUC Support Technician to join us in this full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position.
About the role
We are looking for a proactive End User Support Technician to join our Technology & Transformation Support team. In this role, you will manage and resolve technology service requests and incidents, ensuring our business users receive timely and effective support. You will collaborate with other support teams and vendors to provide comprehensive technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Handle Technology Requests: Receive and diagnose business technology requests and issues, initiating appropriate troubleshooting and resolution processes. Provide Support: Offer assistance for problems related to desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. Install and Configure: Set up and configure desktop hardware, software, and peripherals following standard procedures. Remote and On-Site Assistance: Deliver both remote and in-person support to address and resolve technology issues and needs. Escalate Issues: Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support teams or specialists when necessary. Collaborate for Solutions: Work with internal departments and vendors to troubleshoot issues and expedite resolution. Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of user requests, issues, and resolutions. Document Procedures: Create and document standard procedures for remote issue resolution. Prepare User Manuals: Develop manuals and guides to assist end-users with technology. Suggest Improvements: Recommend enhancements to technology support processes to prevent and reduce recurring issues. Ensure Compliance: Follow company policies and procedures, stay updated on relevant guidelines, and report any health and safety risks. Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and recommend actions to manage risks effectively, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment. Duty of Care: Take reasonable care for personal and others' health and safety, report hazards or incidents promptly, and contribute to maintaining a safe workplace. About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft OS Platform, Microsoft Intune, and Office 365, as well as familiarity with desktop remote management tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a collaborative approach and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Success in this role means delivering high-quality technology support with timely responses and effective problem resolution. You'll positively impact user satisfaction, as reflected in feedback and surveys, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology support services.
