*Due to recent machinery of government changes, this position will support the newly formed Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (DCSODSFB). This position will be advertised under the former DESBT while establishment changes are finalised.*
As the Senior Program Officer, Small Business Support Network you will:
Establish effective, collaborative working relationships with program stakeholders including delivery contractors, partner departments and authorities including those external to government. Manage, monitor, and review the program objectives and effectiveness via proactive contract management activities to support the implementation of this priority government program. Manage ongoing promotional and awareness activities in collaboration with the service providers and the Media and Communication. Represent the department at a variety of forums, working parties and committees related to this program. Prepare reports, briefing papers, correspondence, and maintain detailed, accurate and up to date distribution and stakeholder records. What we are looking for: The position requires an applicant who can:
Work independently to manage a complex project and meet multiple and competing priorities. Build productive, authentic relationships with stakeholders. Communicate, consult and negotiate with others to achieve shared objectives. Provide independent advice, both written and verbal, to senior officers on diverse issues.
