Offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and inflight catering services in 85 countries across six continents, dnata is a trusted partner for over 270 airline customers around the world.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Employment Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team in one of our facilities in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne, or our head office on the Gold Coast.Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the objective of the role is to develop, implement, and manage a contemporary industrial relations strategy and framework for dnata catering & retail Australia. The role is accountable for providing guidance and industrial relation advice to all areas of our business and fostering effective union relationships.Key Responsibilities:Working with leaders to co-design a negotiation strategy and roadmap;Supporting Enterprise Agreement planning, negotiation, and implementation;Management of external matters and representation at hearings;Development of effective tools and resources for compliant and respectful internal employment relations.The PersonThis role will suit someone who has significant industrial relations experience and is willing to bring a fresh approach that is tailored to our business. The successful candidate will bring previous success in building and executing positive industrial relations that strengthen our internal and external relationships.This role requires relevant qualifications and the ability to influence through formal and informal communication.
