The role
This role sees our Employment Relations practice group growing in Adelaide and we are looking for a passionate ER Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will thrive working on quality matters and enjoy the collaborative, friendly environment at Piper Alderman. Our Adelaide employment relations is looking for an enthusiastic early career lawyer.
Our Adelaide lawyers are leaders in the area, skilled at understanding the commercial realities of business from the perspective of a business owner and advisor. This opportunity will see you working alongside and learning from the Adelaide ER Partners; Erin McCarthy and Emily Haar, who have been recognised in Doyle's Guide as Leading Employment Lawyers (Employer Representation) – South Australia.
About you
To succeed in this role you will ideally have:
Between 1 - 3 post-admission experience in general employment law
Commercial acumen with the ability to build strong client relationships
A self-motivated and "can-do" attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits
The ability to work collaboratively within a high performing team environment whilst also autonomously at times
A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients including working within tight timeframes
