Your Role as Education Support Officer We are now looking for a full-time Education Support Officer based in Newstead, TAS.In this role, you will support Thrive's Early Years and School Aged Care Programs across various locations, reporting to the CEO, Director of Children's Services, and EYSAC Manager, with key responsibilities in program coordination, compliance, and educator support.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordinating and supervising Thrive's Early Learning and School Aged Care programsSupporting trainees and educators in their studies and professional developmentAssisting in training and acting as a role model for staff, students, and volunteersEnsuring educational programs comply with policies, laws, and regulationsMonitoring, recording, and reporting on program qualityFacilitating community and parental involvement in educational activitiesProviding hands-on support in care environments as neededLeading the implementation of the National Quality FrameworkSupporting team leaders and conducting regular meetings with educational leadersParticipating in assessment and rating processes to uphold quality standardsLiaising with professionals to maintain best practices and statutory complianceIdentifying and addressing training needs within the teamIn this dynamic position, you will be an advocate for quality education, collaborating with professionals and mentoring staff.
